Burnt Offering Prayers

In Jewish tradition, it was common for the rabbi to give his disciples an index prayer as a template or prayer guide. Our Rabbi, Jesus Christ, has done the same.

The Lord’s Prayer is a Jewish Index Prayer, where each phrase of the prayer is elaborated upon as one prays with the Holy Spirit. This index prayer will be our guide throughout our Burnt Offering Prayer times and keep the priestly fire of submission burning within us.

Our Father in heaven…
Heavenly Father, Creator of everything visible and invisible, thank You that You have chosen us to be Your sons and daughters through a covenant love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful that You have purchased us from the realms of darkness by His very own blood and brought us into the Kingdom of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. We have been chosen and elected to be conformed to the image of Your Son. Then You, Almighty God, that You have taken responsibility for every detail of our lives through Your covenant loving kindness. Thank You for every good and perfect gift you have bestowed upon us. We praise You for the creation you have given us to enjoy and oversee and for every good work You have prepared for us to complete in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26; 1 John 3:2)

May Your Great Name be hallowed…
We praise You as: Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider; Jehovah-Rohi, our Shepherd; Jehovah-Rophe, our Healer; Jehovah-Tsidkenu, our Righteousness; Jehovah-M’Kaddesh, our Sanctifier; Jehovah-Shammah, our Ever-Present Companion; Jehovah-Shalom, our Peace; Jehovah-Nissi, our Victory; Jehovah-Yahweh, our Unchanging and Uncreated Lord, Elohim, our Powerful and Mighty Ruler; Adoni, our Lord and Master; El-Elyon, the Greater and Stronger One within us; and El-Shaddai, the God who is sufficient for our every need.
Throughout this day, we pray that we can make Your Name a praise in all the earth in everything we think, do, and say…(all our actions) by speaking up when needed and ministering to the needs of others. (Isaiah 11:9). We pray our words, lifestyles and ministries cause others to see Your good works in us and praise and glorify (hallow the name of) our Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16). We pray that your priesthood of believers will continually bring You the sacrifice of prayer and praise so that wrath may not fall on this region (Numbers 18:5). Thank You that you make all things work together for our god. So we bless You privately and publicly and always bring You a sweet smelling aroma of a sacrificial praise as Your earthly priesthood. We also bring You the spiritual sacrifice of prayer.

May Your Kingdom (Reign) come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven…
Father, thank You for giving and sending the Holy Spirit. Thank You, Lord Jesus for sanctifying us in the same way You did Your disciples while on this earth - with the Holy Spirit. We pray that the Holy Spirit will fill us with His divine righteous nature of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trusting faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 5:18b-20). We pray the Holy Spirit will counsel us with His wisdom, understanding, power, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 11:2). We pray we will all be filled with the Holy Spirit, live in the Holy Spirit; partake of the divine nature of the Holy Spirit and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that every supernatural gift of Yours will be continually manifested in us: words of wisdom and knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues. (I Corinthians 12:7-11). We pray for the wisdom to win souls to You. We pray that we will keep Your kingdom first in every aspect of our lives. We pray that our bodies, minds, hearts and anointing will be quickened continually by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:11). We ask that we will all be led by the Holy Spirit and by the power of the Spirit put to death the misdeeds of our sinful nature. (Romans 8:13, 14) We pray that our God will guide us through the prayers of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26, 27) so that we are empowered in Christ’s will. (Romans 8:19). Holy Spirit, pour the grace of the Son of God into our restless souls and lead us by your prayers. Holy Spirit, by Your prayers, empty our hearts of despair, laziness, unbelief, slowness in understanding Kingdom realities, of forgetfulness, and all sinful thoughts. By the strength of your prayers, cleanse us of a clouded mind and the bruises of Satan. Free us from all condemnation and rescue us from every inclination to sin. Without You, Holy Spirit, we are poor, miserable, blind and naked. We now bind ourselves to the will of God, to the mind of Christ and to the work of the Holy Spirit. We pray this for ourselves, our family, our Bishop/pastor, elders, deacons and the whole body of Christ with whom we are in covenant. (2 Peter 1:3-4; Romans 14-17)

Give us today our daily bread...
We pray that we will have the Children’s Bread of deliverance and healing from all demonic powers. (Matthew 15:21-28). We pray for the proceeding Word of God and revelation knowledge for every circumstance we face. (Matthew 4:4) We ask that we would be given the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God, that the eyes of our understanding would b enlightened so we would know the hope of Your calling, Your rich inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding great power You have given us in the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 1:17-19). We ask that God give us the power to get wealth so we can establish His covenant in the earth. (Deuteronomy 8:18). We rebuke the devourer off all God’s tithing people in covenant confidence. We pray that our Heavenly Father will open up the windows of heaven, pour our blessing and rebuke the work of devouring demons from our finances. (Malachi 3:10-12) We pray the earth will produce for us today without thorn or thistle. Lord, since You have worn the crown of thorns, we extract the thorns and thistles out of our day in prayer. We command the earth to produce for us without the seat of the brow. We ask, God, that our portion be released to us in this region. (Genesis 3). Father, we pray that You would restore all the lost inheritance of previous generations. (Malachi 4:6). We pray that all will walk in the Abrahamic blessing - “We are blessed so that we can be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2; Galatians 3:8)

Forgive us our debts...
Heavenly Father we pray for the gift of repentance (James 4:7-10) and that we will repent quickly and live a lifestyle of repentance (1 John 1:9). We confess all known sins, both private and corporate that we are aware of. (Take a moment and confess all known sins) “Have mercy on us, O Lord, according to your unfailing love; according to you great compassion blot our our transgressions through the eternal blood of the Lamb. Wash away all of our iniquity and cleanse us from sin.” (Psalms 51) We now bring before God the Father, the remembrance of the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask You God to forgive all known and unknown sins. Our sing of omission (things I should have done and did not do) and our sins of commission (sins I partook of knowing full what I was doing). We confess our sins and are thankful that you are a righteous God who is merciful, forgives us, and cleanses from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

As we forgive our debtors...
We also pray that we will forgive others quickly and completely...that we will not hold resentment, judgements or bitterness, nor will we agree with the accusations of the demons and speak or contemplate their lies about others. We pray that the grace of the Holy Spirit will be powerful in us to not hold unforgiveness. We pray that we can focus our anger at the devil and not at the people he may use like puppets for his schemes. Help us realize our war is not against flesh and blood but against the forces of wickedness. (Ephesians 6:11-12). Lord, we understand that we have a covenant of forgiveness with You that is so powerful and encompassing, that You do not allow us to hold unforgiveness without tormenting consequences (curses). (Matthew 6:15; 18:21-35). Holy Spirit, give us grace to keep covenant with our brothers and sisters in Christ, whether they do so or not.

Lead us not into temptation...
God we intercede for ourselves and our brothers and sisters in Christ that we will not walk in the realm of testing, difficulties, temptation, hard trials or the curse. We pray that we can break out of every curse and demonic stronghold of temptation in life and circumstance. We pray to be delivered from all curses. We now review our lives in the light of Deuteronomy 28, for we know that the curse without cause does not come. Lord, in the place of every curse we ask that You would make a way of escape. “Create in us a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Do not cast us away from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of Your salvation and uphold us by Your generous Spirit”. (Psalm51). We now appropriate, by faith, the blessing of curse removal because our Lord became a curse for us on His bloody cross. Therefore, we pray for the blessing of Abraham - the invasion and redemptive grace of Your Holy Spirit where covenantal curses have come. (Galatians 3:13-14).

Deliver us from all the power of the evil one...
We pray that we will be delivered from all demonic schemes, devises, tricks, subtleties, wiles, and strongholds. We remind the devil and all his demons that our Lord totally defeated and disarmed them by His bloody cross. By His bloody death on the cross, His resurrection from the dead and His ascensions to His throne, our Lord has been granted the Name above every name and has been given all power and authority in heaven and earth. He has instructed us to cast out demons using the authority of His Name. We now shatter and break every agreement, vain imagination and covenant of death with the devil. We demolish every stronghold and lie that demons have erected in our covenant brothers and sisters or ourselves. We break down every demonic structure of deception, a generational curse, personal sin, unbelief, unforgiveness, bitterness, vows, ungodly soul ties, trauma and works of idolatry that the enemy has erected, is hiding in or is protecting. We pray that every bodily system will be delivered from demonic infirmity and power; epidermic, muscular, skeletal, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, reproductive, and all internal organs. Deliver us from all the work of demons who operate in infirmity. We pray that we will be delivered from demons invading our families, church, and church family. We rebuke all demonic forces we are currently discerning and ask God to send warring angels (of sufficient rank, authority, power and number) to drive away these wicked demon spirits and their sinful strategies. We ask God to dispatch angels to battle for every person. We stand in the gap for those we know are currently struggling and we now name each one. We pray that we will be delivered from all the works of the devil, which is getting people to sin, live sinful lifestyles, have patterned sinful ways of thinking or imagining, and sinful relationships. We now shatter every idol in prayer and remove the legal rights of the demons through repentance. We pray that our city, region, state, nation and our representative government will be delivered from the power of demons. We pray that all blinding demonic influences will fail; especially, demons of religion. We pray that we can defeat every assignment of the enemy who seeks to distract us from all kingdom work and the work of bringing others to Christ and making disciples. We pray for deliverance from demons of a slumbering spirit, a hardened heart, foolish thinking and every type of lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life. We rebuke every demonic power that attacks the spiritual gifts and the gifting of God in His people. We rebuke every deceptive strategy and, assignment of darkness sent to blind the darkened minds of those who do not believe in our regions. We pray that as the sun rises today, that the wicked demons and their agents will be shaken out of our day. (Job 38:12). We pray that the light of God will shine brightly in the darkened minds of unbelievers who live in this region. (John 1:5). And we declare that our God, who is in us, is greater than he who is in this world.

For thine is the Kingdom, the power, the glory, forever and ever. AMEN
We give You, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, our One Eternal God, praise and worship for Your delivering power from the devil, his demons and their strategies and sins. We declare You, God Almighty, are greater than all of our sins sicknesses, questions, circumstances, diseases, problems, difficulties and trials...and greater than all the demons that constantly fights against us.
We declare and praise Your, our great, mighty and awesome God, with shouts of joy and victory. Hallelujah, for You, the Lord God Almighty, reign. We praise You that we reign with You in this life as a holy priesthood. As we keep You first, You always cause us to triumph in Christ Jesus. YOU ARE A MIGHTY GOD! We shout Hallelujah to You, our great King, for the great victories of this day!
We pray this prayer over ourselves, our family, our church (Patriarch, Bishop, Elders, Deacons and Church Body), our city, our area, our state, our nation; and over the minds of unbelievers, families, businesses, education and government in this region. Dispatch angels to keep us and guard us in all Your ways. (Psalm 91)

AMEN
